Advances in High-Parameter Cytometry and Imaging Mass Cytometry™

February 23, 2022

Cytometry by time-of-flight technology, used in CyTOF® systems, is now available at NYU Langone.

Revealing cellular variations in perceived homogeneous populations has become crucial to characterizing immune responses, understanding cancer cells, tracking stem cell lineage, and studying the effectiveness of biological therapies. Additionally, the need for antibody-based, high-parameter protein analysis is underscored by its capacity to identify rare and previously uncharacterized cell populations. This ability has far-reaching implications in both basic research and translational research.

Join the Cytometry and Cell Sorting Laboratory for a presentation on the principles of the Helios™ mass cytometry system and the utility of high-parameter analysis. The speakers will highlight research discoveries made possible with mass cytometry and the Hyperion™ Imaging System and its workflow, and outline some of the groundbreaking research enabled by Imaging Mass Cytometry™ (IMC™).

Speakers will include Andrew Draghi II, PhD, Field Applications Scientist, Fluidigm; Chiara Giannarelli, MD, PhD, Departments of Medicine and Pathology, NYULH; Hiran Ravichandran, MS, Research Associate, Weill Cornell Medicine.
